MOORE ON THE NIGHT

On the men's performance…

"We had four freshmen playing for the guys and I thought those freshmen grew up a lot today. They followed their game plans and I thought they showed great heart and grit. I thought they grew a lot today. I thought the team did a real good job of controlling the things they could control. I also thought they did a great job encouraging each other and fighting for every point. They really listened to their game plans too. I was pleased with this group today. We have a lot of work to do and a lot to improve on, but as far as the fight and encouragement of one another, I thought it was fantastic."

On the women's 7-0 victory…

"The girls have unbelievable chemistry and leadership. Senior captains Judit and Kerry have poured so much into this program – so much winning, leadership and commitment. I really thought this team came out and made a statement today with the energy and spirit the played with."
