Biography
PRIOR TO TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI: Soke joins the Islanders with the highest ITF Junior Ranking by any incoming recruit in program history. The Turkey native climbed as high as No. 131 in the world at the junior level while reaching a pinnacle of No. 1399 in the ATP Professional Rankings.
The incoming Islander has represented his native Turkey at all ages from under-12 to under-18. Last summer, he won the Turkey U18 National Team Selection Tournament as a 17-year old. In 2015, Soke won a pair of ITF Junior tournaments and added two additional finals appearances and three semifinal berths. On the pro circuit, he reached the final 16 in three futures tournaments in Turkey.
