Student-Athlete Development


The Islanders Student-Athlete Development Program has been created to enhance the quality of the student-athlete experience throughout their college careers. Each semester, a list of life skills programming will be made available to student-athletes. Students will be required to participate in a total of three programs each academic year.

To support the academic progress of the student-athlete toward intellectual development and graduation

To build philosophical foundations for the development of athletics programs that are broad-based and dedicated to the well-being of the student-athlete

In the Community

Community service is an important part of the Islanders Athletics experience. Student-athletes are a key part of the campus and Corpus Christi communities, and with everything that our fellow Islanders and the people of the city give to us, we feel it is important to give back.
