- 12 UTR Nathan Schwartz
- 10.4 UTR Emma Aucagne
- 9.5 UTR Kateryna Rublevska
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi has signed another elite recruiting class in both men's and women's tennis for the 2020-21 season. The Islanders 2018 women's recruiting class was ranked 12th nationally among Mid- Majors and we feel this class is absolutely as strong!!
Nathan Schwartz, a 12 UTR transfer from Northern Kentucky who played #1 singles as a freshman, chose the Islanders last week. We love Nathan's character and work ethic. Nathan chose the Islanders over many top schools and communicated strongly how he wanted to be on a team with great team culture, work ethic and discipline. We love Nathan's attitude and character and feel he is a great fit for the Islanders.
Emma Aucagne, a 10.4 UTR from France, and Kateryna Rublevska, a 9.5 UTR from Ukraine, signed last week highlighting a brilliant women's class we are so excited about! Both have tremendous character and work ethic and the goal of playing professional someday. Both chose the Islanders for the team's reputation of player development and team culture. These are highly motivated girls with incredibly bright futures. Kateryna was ranked #2 nationally in Ukraine and a member of the junior Fed Cup team that finished second in the World. Emma was top 15 nationally in France and top 300 in the ITF world rankings, despite being a full year younger in her age group.
The coaches worked very hard researching these players and our coaching contacts consistently said only the highest positives about their character and work ethic. We feel they are not just great players, but also great students and a fantastic fit for the Islanders team first, blue-collar culture!
Thank you for your continued support of Islander Tennis!

"Dedication, sacrifice and commitment to be the hardest worker is what got me these Davis Cup results. I learned to compete like a gladiator through good days and bad. All these values and lessons I learned from my 4 years as an Islander. Islanders fight always! Islanders Family Always!" ~ Peter Nagy
