SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's tennis returns to the road, traveling to San Antonio for tomorrow's match against UIW. The match is slated to start at 1 PM.
The Islanders have won the Southland Conference regular season title 10 of the last 11 years – one of only four sports in the history of the SLC to accomplish such a feat. Following back-to-back wins, the men look to build on their momentum in tomorrow's showdown with the Cardinals.
"Incarnate Word is maybe the hottest team in the league right now," said Coach
Steve Moore. "They're very talented, playing with confidence and playing at home. We have to be extremely focused on maxing out the things we can control, and compete like warriors. Every guy, every point."
Tomorrow's match is a battle of the undefeated, as neither of the two teams have lost an SLC match this season. Be sure to support your Islanders, and watch as they continue their push for another Southland Conference title!
