MONTGOMERY, Texas - The Texas A&M golf team shot a 311 on the final day of the 2018 Southland Conference Championship, placing fifth. The three-day event was held at the Woodforest Golf Club in Montgomery, Texas.
Autumn Bynum finished 12th individually, carding a 77 on the final day.
Brooklyn Sutton shot a 78 on Wednesday to finish in a tie for 18th.
Dani Bergmann finished in a tie for 26th with a 79.
Olivia Lowe tied Bynum for the team's low round of the day, finring a 77 to tie for 30th.
Alex Amos shot an 83 and finished in a tie for 32nd place.
Houston Baptist (898) won the event and the conference's bid to the NCAA Championship. HBU's Kaity Cummings won the individual title with a three day total of 220. Central Arkansas finished second with a combined 907 team score. Sam Houston State (913) placed third followed by Lamar (923) in fourth.
