CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's tennis returns home for the latest edition of the South Texas Showdown, presented by NavyArmy Community Credit Union. Tomorrow's match against UTRGV is slated for 2 PM at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center.
Last Tuesday, the women traveled along with the men to Edinburg for the most recent showdown against the Vaqueros. Although the women battled throughout the match, UTRGV ultimately edged the Islanders 4-3. Tomorrow, the women seek revenge, as they look to earn a victory over the Vaqueros. In doing so, they hope to secure the final tennis point of the 2017-2018 South Texas Showdown series for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
The first 25 fans that arrive at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center for tomorrow's match will receive a free South Texas Showdown t-shirt. Be sure to come out and support your Islanders as they look to even the season series 1-1 with a victory over UTRGV!
