CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's tennis returned to the road today, traveling to San Antonio for their second match of the season against UTSA. The Islanders came out of the gates running, picking up the doubles point to start the match. Ultimately, the Roadrunners recovered in singles play, turning things around to earn a 4-2 victory over the Islanders.
"Give credit to a very good and well coached UTSA team," said Coach Steve Moore. "They outfought us today, and deserved to win. We have not been outfought often this year, but we were today. We have to be honest, acknowledge that, and be ready to battle even harder next time. We will learn from this and grow stronger."
