CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's tennis heads to San Antonio, eying their second match of the year against UTSA. Tomorrow's match with the Roadrunners is set to start at 2 PM.
On February 10th, the Islanders hosted UTSA at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center for their first home match of the season. The match was tight throughout, but the Islanders ultimately edged the Roadrunners 4-3 to secure the victory.
The men have won 14 of their last 15 matches. In doing so, the Islanders have remained amongst the Top 75 teams in all of NCAA Division 1 two weeks in a row. They are currently ranked #72 in the ITA National Rankings.
Tomorrow, the Islanders look to continue their hot start to the season. Following their third-place finish at the HEB Tournament of Champions, the men look to ride the momentum gained in Saturday's victory over New Mexico State. Prior to starting their near two-week break from play, the Islanders look to go out on the right foot, picking up a victory in tomorrow's match over the Roadrunners!
