CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's tennis returned home after a two-game road stint, taking on UTSA. After falling in doubles, the women bounced back strong, picking up a 6-1 victory over the Roadrunners!
"That was a character win today," said Coach Steve Moore. "Every girl showed great character. That was exactly the statement we needed to make before starting this challenging conference journey. Every girl chose the character road today, and made a huge contribution. They made the choice to max out the things they can control. If they continue to make that choice, and play every point with extreme toughness, I love what the next several months will hold for them. That's a big if, but I believe deeply in their toughness and character. They know that March and April are all about fitness and mental toughness, and have been making the choice and paying the price to have that fitness since September."
