CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's and women's tennis hit the road today, traveling the Edinburg for the latest edition of the South Texas Showdown against UTRGV. In two tight matches, the teams split on the night. The men closed strong, edging out a 4-3 victory. Meanwhile, the women fell just short, falling 4-3 to the Vaqueros.
For the men, today's win brings the team to 12-1. Extending their current win streak to twelve matches, they improve on what's already the best start to a season in school history. For the women, today's loss brings the team to 3-4 on the season.
