Islanders Host Javelinas in First Home Match of Spring Season

Women Look to Bounce Back at Home

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's tennis returns home for their first home match of the spring season this Thursday as they host Texas A&M-Kingsville. The match, which takes place at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center, is set to start at 4 PM.

"We're incredibly excited for our first home match," said Coach Steve Moore. "We've worked very hard, and playing at home in front of the best tennis community in the United States is always very special to these players."

"We have a lot of respect for A&M Kingsville and head coach Autumn Williams," Moore continued. "We expect a great battle tomorrow. We challenge our team, as always, to play each point with intensity, tough and smart. We look to max out on the things we control."

Tomorrow's match will be the first in which Islanders tennis has played the Javelinas. The first 50 fans in attendance will receive free pizza before the match. Come out tomorrow and support your Islanders as they look to get back on track with a win against Kingsville!
