MOORE'S THOUGHTS
Â
On today's win…
"I thought the girls did a great job of coming out to day and really making a statement with their footwork and energy. I thought the way they really supported each other and came out with a unified family mentality made a huge difference today. They really competed hard for each other. I thought our captains were fantastic and I think our freshmen are really growing up quick."
Â
14th consecutive conference victory…
"We try so hard to focus on the things we can control. The winning has been a symptom of showing up to play every point with intensity and playing it the right way. If we continue to make the choices to max out the things we can control, then we can continue that. Every single person has to bring effort and intensity ever single point."
On responding from lackluster performance earlier this week…
"I think they really came out and made a statement with their energy. They made a statement with their tenacity at the beginning. It was a different environment and they chose to make that happen with their actions. I was proud of what I saw today, now we just need to duplicate that effort, each girl, every match, every week. We have real high goals this year and they can achieve all of those so long as they commit to maxing out those things they can control."
