ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi golf team continues its fall schedule to start this week, traveling one state to the west to compete at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational, hosted by the University of New Mexico.
The Islanders will compete against 12 other teams, with the full field consisting of Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge, Fresno State, Montana State, Nevada, Northern Arizona, Pepperdine, Sacramento State, UTEP, UC Irvine, UNLV, and the host Lobos. The tournament will be held at the 6,354-yard, par-72 UNM Championship Course, with the first two rounds being played on Monday and the final round teeing off on Tuesday.
The two days in New Mexico will mark the second time out on the course for A&M-Corpus Christi in the new season, returning back to action after opening things up at the Golfweek Fall Challenge in Pawleys Island, South Carolina last week. The team finished 19
th overall at that event, posting a score of 913 (+61) while seeing returner
Samantha Gibbs lead the group individually with a +15 across the three days. The Islanders will bring the same five athletes as part of their lineup this time around, going with (1) Gibbs, (2)

Abir Taibi, (4)
Corrina Haros and (5)
Ellie Harris.
The action at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CT on Monday, with the live stats being available on Scoreboard by Clippd.
