LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi golf team moves to the latter half of its fall schedule when it gets back into action this week, remaining in state to take part in the Red Raider Invitational, hosted by Texas Tech.
The Islanders will hit the links on Tuesday and Wednesday at the 6,894-yard, par-72 Rawls Course, playing three rounds across the two days with 36 holes on the opening day and the final 18 to wrap things up. They will compete in a field of 12 teams, which consists of the host Red Raiders, Abilene Christian, BYU, New Mexico, Prairie View A&M, Sam Houston, UT Arlington, UTEP and Southland Conference rivals HCU, UIW and Stephen F. Austin.
A&M-Corpus Christi will be competing for the third straight week, following up their opener at the Golfweek Fall Challenge in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, and their most recent event, the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, New Mexico. For this tournament, the team will roll with a lineup of (1)

Hannah Creekmore and (5)
Salysa Mason. The first four have competed at both tournaments so far, with Gibbs leading the Islanders in individual score at both and Taibi matching her at +10 in New Mexico, while Mason will be making her debut in the blue and green after transferring in from Florida International.
The Red Raider Invitational will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on both days, and the live stats will be available to follow along on Scoreboard.
