CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's and women's tennis teams will have a full weekend of home conference matches, hosting Nicholls Saturday and New Orleans Monday as the end of the regular season nears.

It will be the final home matches for the Islanders this year, and two of the last three in the regular season. Both teams will wrap up conference play on the road next week, with each still fighting for championship contention.

Both the men and the women will open the weekend at 10 a.m. against Nicholls, with both set to run simultaneously. In between the men's doubles and singles, the program will host a special Senior Day recognition for senior captains Etienne Marty and Josef Zapletal (around 10:45 a.m.).

Both teams are coming off big wins this past weekend, with the men taking down undefeated Lamar in a 4-3 battle while the women posted a 2-0 weekend after defeating both UIW and Lamar.

Zapletal delivered the men's clinching point, and remains undefeated in conference play at a 2-0 singles and doubles record, pairing with Ethan Dasset at No. 3 doubles for the perfect mark. Marty and Dasset are also 2-0 in singles play against conference opponents.

For the women, Kseniya Ramanouskaya has reigned untouched with a 5-0 singles record mainly from court three. She additionally hoists four wins at No. 1 doubles with partner Yana Mykytyn.
