CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi track & field and cross country program hosts one of the biggest events on its calendar this weekend, welcoming competitors from all throughout South Texas to the Dr. Jack Dugan Family Soccer and Track Stadium for the 2025 Islander Splash.
"This is one of my favorite weekends of the year," Islanders head coach
Bryan Jackson said. "I am excited to welcome over 2,400 athletes between all our races on Friday and Saturday. I am grateful for the partnership with AEP and their sponsorship as we work to build this event to have a larger impact on the Coastal Bend and UIL Region 4 Cross Country community."
The meet will take place over the course of two days, with
140 teams making the trip to Corpus Christi. The competition is set to begin at 6:15 p.m. on Friday and 7:15 a.m. on Saturday, and packet pickup and course inspection will be from 3-6 p.m. on Friday. The full schedule for the weekend can be found
