- Host, No. 21 ranked Purdue (6-1), won the first match of the day, 3-0. Eastern Michigan (5-6) won the second match of the day by a score of 3-0.

- The Islanders hit .278 as a team in the second set, recording 12 kills and had just two attacking errors.

Match Two Key Statistics
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi hit .240 for the match. In the third set, the Islanders hit .286 with 11 kills and just three attacking errors.

Sam Dumity hit .667 with nine kills and just one attacking error. She also had three digs and a block defensively.
- Green picked up eight kills with 23 assists, seven digs, three service aces and one block. She hit .368 for the match with one attacking error.

Rachel Young also had eight kills, hitting .333 for the match. She had a pair of blocks and added a dig and an assist.

Carissa Barnes had 17 digs to go along with an assist and a service ace. She also picked up a rare kill.
- Panhans had six assists, six digs and one kill.

Kaylee Payne had six digs defensively.
- Each team had five service aces.
- This was the second all-time meeting between A&M-Corpus Christi and Eastern Michigan. The programs met back on Sept. 7, 2012, in Denton, Texas, at the University of North Texas.
