Welcome to the official Islanders Volleyball Camp website. At Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, we are committed to serving the entire Coastal Bend. We offer a variety of camps for players of all ages and ability level. Campers will be able to develop their game, receive high level coaching, and learn how to train at the Division I level under the guidance of Islanders Volleyball coaching staff and players.

Camp Information

All Skills Camp

This camp is designed to provide multiple all-around skill training sessions to players of any level, offered to those in 6th-12th grade. The sessions will be comprised of a variety of skills including, but not limited to passing, setting, attaching, defense, serving, and blocking. Near the conclusion, athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in 6 vs 6 drills and games.  

Cost: $105

Kids Camp

This camp is geared toward teaching the basic fundamentals of each skill to beginning level players in 2nd-6th grade and will be offered on different dates. The curriculum includes fun fundamental drills, competitions, and many games for every player to enjoy. This camp is high energy and campers will have a lot of interaction with the Islanders Volleyball players!

Elite Camp

This camp is designed to provide advanced training for prospective collegiate athletes in grades 9th-12th looking to take their game to the next level.  Athletes will receive technical and tactical training within a fast-paced and competitive environment for the Islander Volleyball staff. The camp sessions will be comprised of a variety of skills including, but not limited to passing, setting, attacking, defense, serving, and blocking. Within these sessions, athletes will have the opportunity to compete in 6v6 drills and games.  

Cost: $300 commuter / $350 overnight

Positional Combo Camp

This camp will allow campers from grades 6th-12th to focus on each positional skill (setting, attacking, and passing/defense) for an entire day, over the three days of camp. Campers will receive specific instruction, repetition, and technical training for all positions throughout the camp. The Islanders Volleyball staff will work directly with campers to increase knowledge of the skill and give direct feedback. Campers will be able to apply these positional focuses in competitive play at the end of camp.

Cost: $300 commuter / $350 overnight

Positional Camp

This camp is designed for fundamental skills development and polishing techniques of all things ball control for 6th-12th graders. Athletes will focus and learn on their specific skill interests throughout the camp. At the end of camp, campers will be grouped with the other skill interests and implement their skills in 6v6 play. Athletes will be grouped by appropriate skill set.

ID Camp

This camp is designed for advanced skills training for players with already-developed skills in grades 7th-12th, looking to improve to make a high school varsity team, competitive club team, or play collegiate volleyball in the future. Athletes will receive technical and tactical training to increase their knowledge and quality of play.

Serving Clinic

This clinic is designed for players of all skill levels who want to improve one of the most critical aspects of the game- serving. Our curriculum includes in-depth breakdown on serving techniques, drills/competitive games to reinforce serving skills, and an abundance of feedback from our coaches and players. Whether you’re working on getting your serve over the net to make your school team or wanting to advance your jump serve, this camp is perfect for you!
