From the Head Coach
- "I was very proud of our play today. Our 301 was a good score in today's conditions - the wind really kicked up on the second nine and our Islanders had to battle to score. These student-athletes showed a lot of maturity in their decision-making and composure under pressure. They did a great job of staying in the moment and taking care of the shot, making some good saves for par and rolling in some birdie putts. Dani, Autumn, and Brooklyn had solid tournaments, and Kellsey really came through for us in the final round. We played right with SHSU and Texas State today. Moving forward, we have to work on coming out stronger in our first round, so we are in contention to win on the final day," head coach
Joni Stephens
