CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi baseball program (6-4, 0-0 Southland) shifts focus to yet-another home stretch, this time a three-game series against Eastern Michigan (2-6-1, 0-0 MAC) running from Friday, Mar. 1 through Sunday, Mar. 3 at Chapman Field. The Islanders enter the weekend on a four-game hot streak, posting wins over Oral Roberts, Ohio State (back-to-back) and Texas State, in succession, while the Eagles have notched two wins in their past three tries, including a 6-5 victory over Abilene Christian and a 4-2 success versus Notre Dame.

- The Islanders were picked 11th in the Southland Conference Preseason Poll.
