Volleyball falls in season finale to Sugar Bears

Story Headlines
- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi volleyball team fell to Central Arkansas, 3-1, at the Prince Center in Conway, Ark., on Saturday afternoon.
- The Islanders end the regular season at 18-11 overall and 11-5 in Southland play. The Sugar Bears improved to 16-13 overall and 10-6 in conference action.
- Madison Green recorded her Southland leading sixth triple-double of the year. The senior had 25 assists, 14 digs and 11 kills. She also added a pair of blocks.

Key Islander Statistics
- A&M-Corpus Christi's best set came in the fourth, hitting .405 with 16 kills and just one error.
- The Islanders outhit UCA, .258-.250. Each team had eight blocks in the match.
- Chloe Simon hat 13 kills with nine digs, one block and one assist.
- Kylie Filipiak hit .357 with 13 kills, four blocks and two digs.
- Carissa Barnes finished with 21 digs and two assists.
- Faith Panhans dished out 26 assists with five digs, two service aces and a kill.
