- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi volleyball team fell to the University of Miami, 3-0, at the Dugan Wellness Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Friday.
- Miami improved to 3-3 on the year while the Islanders fall to 1-8.
- This was just the third ACC opponent that Texas A&M-Corpus Christi has faced. Earlier this year, the Islanders took on Clemson and Duke.

Sam Dumity reached double-figures in kills for the second time in her career, notching 11 to go along with one block. She had just two attacking errors and hit .429.

Madison Green had her fourth double-double of the season with 36 assists and 12 digs. She also had four kills and a service ace.

Key Islander Sequence
- The Islanders got off to a hot start in the second set. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi got a kill from Simon to start the set and Green came up with an ace to make it 2-0. After a Miami attacking error, Filipiak got a kill to make it 4-0 Islanders. The Hurricanes would get a couple points back but another kill from Filipiak pushed the lead back to 5-2. Dumity made it 6-2 as she recorded a kill off a Green set. The Islanders gave a point back on a service error but Dumity made it 7-3 as she recorded her second kill of the set.
