CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Islanders' soccer program (4-2-2, 1-0-1 Southland) undergoes its first major conference road test Friday evening as the team travels to the Bayou State for a matchup with Southeastern Louisiana (4-3-2, 1-1-1 Southland), facing off against the Lady Lions at 7:30 p.m. in Hammond, La. With a win or tie at SLU, the Islanders have the opportunity to push their already-record-breaking unbeaten streak to seven matches. Previously, the 2017 squad owned the mark after compiling a four-game unbeaten stretch early on during the season.

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi wraps up the weekend road trip with a Sunday matchup at Nicholls State (2-7, 0-2 Southland), facing off against the Colonels at 1:00 p.m. Following the Islanders' win-tie this past weekend with Sam Houston State and SFA, respectively, Nicholls State now sits as the only remaining Southland program the Islanders have not yet defeated or tied on the pitch.
