CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- Even with a multitude of issues -- ranging from groups of injuries to off-pitch issues -- ravaging the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi soccer program (5-5-3, 2-3-2 Southland), the team aims to get back into the win column Sunday afternoon against visiting Northwestern State (7-8-0, 1-6-0 Southland), facing off with the Lady Demons at 1:00 p.m. The Sunday-afternoon matchup serves as the Islanders' only game against a program not ranked in the Southland's top four in the team's final five matches, as next weekend will feature trips to third- and fourth-ranked Lamar and McNeese State, respectively, before closing out the regular season by hosting top-seeded Houston Baptist.
