CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- Despite dropping Sunday's hard-fought match to Incarnate Word by a 1-0 margin, the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi soccer program (5-4-3, 2-2-2 Southland) looks to rebound in Friday evening's massive home game against visiting Central Arkansas (10-3-1, 5-1-0 Southland), matching wits against the Sugar Bears at 7:00 p.m. The Friday-evening match against Southland No. 2 UCA serves as the first of four high-end games remaining on the Islanders' conference schedule, as next weekend will feature trips to third- and fourth-ranked Lamar and McNeese State, respectively, before wrapping up the season by hosting top-seeded Houston Baptist.
