CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas –With just three series left in the season, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi baseball heads to Southland Conference leader McNeese for a three-game set with the Cowboys over the weekend.

The Islanders and Cowboys will open the series on Friday night with a 6 p.m. first pitch in Lake Charles, La. Corpus Christi is visiting Lake Charles for the first time since 2010.

For the Islanders, right-hander
Dustin Lacaze (2-2, 5.62 ERA) will get the ball to open the series on Friday night. Saturday and Sunday's starters are to be announced for the Blue and Green.

Opposing Lacaze in Friday's opener will be right-hander Austin Sanders. The Cowboy ace is 5-2 on the season with a 3.60 ERA. McNeese will follow with Rhett Deaton (7-1, 3.29 ERA) before also going TBA on Sunday's starter.
