CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – While his playing days as an Islander are over, senior
Rashawn Thomas likely has plenty of basketball to look forward to after his stellar collegiate career.
Thomas recently took part in the prestigious Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, where 64 of the best collegiate seniors compete in a three-day tournament in front of representatives of every NBA team. The honor and Thomas' performance only added to the laundry list of accomplishments already on his resumé.
When the Islanders' record book is updated for the 2017-18 season, Thomas' name will dot the top 10 lists of career, single-season and single-game accomplishments no less than an eye-popping 81 times.
