No. 22 Aggies Await in College Station

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – In its penultimate midweek contest of the year, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi baseball heads to College Station to take on the 22nd-ranked Aggies of Texas A&M.
 
Tuesday's game is set for a 6:35 p.m. start on the SEC Network+, available on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.
 
For Corpus Christi, Tuesday marks a second straight season taking on the Aggies after a eight-year hiatus.
 
The Islanders are looking for a big win to potentially jumpstart a late-season surge in the chase for the Southland Conference Tournament. Following the midweeker with the Aggies, the Islanders return home to host Central Arkansas in a critical conference series.
 
Corpus Christi will send right-hander Chris Glover to the hill against the Aggies. The junior will be making his first start since March 26 against Northwestern State.
 
In his last five relief outings, Glover has allowed just three earned runs while recording a strike out in each outing.
 
Dalton Stark leads the Islanders with a .312 average at the plate this season. Stark is one of two Islanders holding a five-game hitting streak entering Tuesday. Shortstop Cullen Jozwiak is the other, as the pair has combined to go 15-for-41 in the past five games.
 
Texas A&M enters Tuesday after taking two-of-three over the weekend from Tennessee. The Aggies will send right-hander Turner Larkins to the mound on Tuesday. Larkins is 0-1 on the season but boasts a solid 2.92 ERA.
 
The Islanders are looking for their first-ever victory against the Aggies in this the ninth meeting between the two sides.

The Islanders return home this weekend for a three-game set against Central Arkansas. The pivotal Southland series opens with a 6 p.m. tilt on Friday evening.
