CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The deepest postseason run in Texas A&M-Corpus Christi history continues Wednesday night when the Islanders head to Baltimore to face the University of Maryland-Baltimore County Retrievers in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament semifinals.

Tip-off in Wednesday's semifinal is set for 7 p.m. EDT and 6 p.m. locally in Corpus Christi. The game will be carried nationally on CBS Sports Network.

Islanders fans are invited to enjoy the game in the company of their fellow Blue and Green faithful at HardKnocks located at 5682 Everhart Road in Corpus Christi. Â

Corpus Christi and UMBC are meeting for the first time ever on the hardwood. The Retrievers hail from the America East Conference and are under the direction of first-year head coach Ryan Odom. At 21-12 under Odom, UMBC has seen one of the most impressive turnarounds after winning just seven games a season ago.

Jarius Lyles and Will Darley lead the Retrievers with 18.9 and 16.3 ppg, respectively. Lyles also leads UMBC on the glass with 6.6 rebounds per contest.
