CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi fans will have their first opportunity to get a glimpse of the 2026-27 Islanders men's basketball team as the program hosts an open practice on July 22 at 5 p.m. inside the Fieldhouse Gym on the campus of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
The free event invites Islanders fans, alumni, families and supporters to meet the team and experience a behind-the-scenes look at how head coach
Jim Shaw and the Islanders prepare for the upcoming season.
Attendees will have the chance to watch the Islanders work through a live practice while getting an inside look at the team ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Admission is free for all fans. Complimentary light snacks and beverages will be available throughout the event, and a cash bar will also be offered.
