FRISCO, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's basketball team had a quartet grace the 2026 SLC All-Academic Team for their successes off the court, announced by the conference office Wednesday.
Nick Shogbonyo,
Mason Gibson,
Leo Torbor, and
Sheldon Williams were the honorees on this year's All-Academic Team. It adds to the academic resumes of seniors Shobonyo, Torbor, and Williams, who were honored earlier this season as CSC Academic All-District selections.
Gibson posted a perfect 4.0 through the MBA program, graduating this year with his master's degree. Torbor posted a 3.7 GPA in a University Studies degree, Shogbonyo finished his business degree with a 3.67 GPA, and Williams recorded a 3.6 GPA also in the business program.
All three were above the team's average GPA of a 3.29.
