Rain Forces Friday Doubleheader vs. UTA

Islanders and Mavericks open weekend series with twin bill

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Expected rain over the weekend has altered the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi baseball series versus UT Arlington at Chapman Field. The Islanders and Mavericks will now play a 3 p.m. doubleheader on Friday afternoon.
 
Corpus Christi and UT Arlington will plan to complete the series on Saturday at 6:30 p.m., weather permitting. If the rain does not hold off, the Islanders and Mavericks would play at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
