The two sides have met just twice with the series split 1-1. The meetings came in 2003 and 2004 with Baylor taking the first clash 69-62.

In 2004, the Islanders rolled to a 73-58 victory at Baylor, marking the last time the two have met. Thomas Bailey led the Islanders that day with 18 points while Corey Stokes added 14 and Taureen Mitchell 10 in the win.
