CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's basketball is slated to appear on ESPN3 on four different occasions during the 2017-18 season as the Islanders aim to build off their semifinal run at the Southland Conference Tournament.

Head coach
Royce Chadwick's squad will make their first appearance on the network on January 27 at home against Houston Baptist. The game is part of a doubleheader with the men's team who will also face HBU on ESPN3.

Homecoming versus New Orleans on February 10 kicks off a stretch of three-consecutive games on ESPN3 for the Blue and Green. In a split doubleheader, the Islanders women will take on New Orleans at 2 p.m. in a rematch of the Southland Conference quarterfinals.

Four days later, the Blue and Green heads to Stephen F. Austin for another matchup on ESPN3. The run of televised games culminates with a February 17 tilt at Lamar.

Both ESPN3 and Eleven Sports own wild card selections in the last month of the regular season, allowing for additional opportunities for televised matchups to be announced two weeks prior to day of game.

The Islanders will celebrate the start of the season with Islander Invasion next Wednesday, Oct. 25. Festivities begin with a tailgate at 5:30 p.m. outside the Dugan Wellness Center.
