High School: Played libero on her high school's varsity team... aided in a first-place showing at the Nike Tournament Champions in Tampa, Florida... played club ball with South Texas Volleyball Academy for three years... made an appearance at Nationals.

Personal: Born April 17, 2006... parents are Zarina and Ramon Avendano... siblings are Zahir, Nieve, and Jose Avendano... plans to major in computer science and minor in criminal justice.
