Saleh, Jaeger Named to K-State Invitational All-Tournament Team

MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi volleyball team had two players recognized at the conclusion of its first tournament of the year on Sunday afternoon, as it was announced that seniors Ally Saleh and Brooklyn Jaeger were named to the K-State Invitational All-Tournament Team.

Saleh, an outside hitter from Waunakee, Wisconsin, led the Islanders' attack in their matches against Kansas State and Campbell to kick off 2026, leading the team with 18 kills and 3.14 points per set while posting a team-best attack percentage of .385. In both matches, Saleh finished with a share of the team lead in kills, finishing tied for first with six against the Wildcats on Friday before then turning around and doing so again with 12 in the team's five-set affair against the Camels the next afternoon.

Jaeger, from Fayetteville, Texas, picked up right where she left off from her SLC Libero of the Year-winning showing in 2025, leading the tournament field in digs with 33 while averaging 4.13 per set and posting a reception percentage of .971. She first tied for the match lead in digs against Kansas State with 12, and against Campbell, she finished with 21 to tally five more than the next closest player on the court.

Saleh and Jaeger get back into action with the rest of the Islanders at home this coming week, playing host to Texas State, UTEP and UTRGV for the Islanders Classic on Thursday through Saturday at the Dugan Wellness Center.
