The Islanders begin the season on the road, first kicking things off with an in-state matchup against Texas State on November 2 before heading east to square off with Louisiana four days later. They then return to the Island for their home opener on November 10 against Dallas Christian, which will take place on campus at the Dugan Wellness Center at 7 p.m.
After this first home game, A&M-Corpus Christi then goes back out on the road for a challenging four-game road stretch, starting in Tallahassee for a showdown with ACC opponent Florida State on November 13 and continuing against Rice, Oral Roberts and Wichita State in a 10-day span. The team's return home following this trip takes place on November 30 at 11 a.m. against Southwestern Adventist for Education Day, presented by Whataburger.
The Islanders get their Southland Conference slate underway on the road this year, kicking things off with a trip to Louisiana to take on Nicholls on December 5 and LSU New Orleans on December 7. Their first home conference matchups will take place on December 19 against Lamar and December 21 against Stephen F. Austin, both of which mark their return to the Hilliard Center for the remainder of the season. Around these four games, they hit the road for their final two nonconference games, the first of which being against Pac-12 foe Boise State on December 12 and the next against national powerhouse Houston on December 29 in their final fixture before the calendar rolls over to 2027.
The new year will see A&M-Corpus Christi turn its attention strictly to the rest of its conference schedule, facing every other Southland opponent twice to complete the 22-game round robin. Some highlights from the remainder of the season include games against UTRGV on the road on January 2 and at home on February 1 in the South Texas Showdown, presented by Rally Credit Union, a home showdown with reigning conference champion McNeese on February 20 and Senior Day against Southeastern Louisiana on February 22. After these tilts, the team wraps things up on the road against Northwestern State on February 27 and East Texas A&M on March 1.
After the conclusion of the regular season, the season culminates at the Southland Conference Basketball Championships, which will be held for the men from March 7-10 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The Islanders will be looking to break through at the tournament this time around after narrowly falling in the semifinals last year and punch their ticket to March Madness for the first time since they qualified in back-to-back seasons in 2021-22 and 2022-23.
