CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Due to forecasted weather conditions and in scheduling with a home baseball series as well, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi softball team will now play Northwestern State in a doubleheader Friday starting at 2 p.m. with game three slated for Saturday at 11 a.m.
Additionally, Tuesday's scheduled game against Texas State will be canceled and postponed to a matchup in Corpus Christi next season. That will make this Saturday's 11 a.m. contest against Northwestern State the final home game of the season for the Islanders.
The schedule changes also take into account the Islanders baseball team who will be hosting a conference series at Chapman Field as well this weekend, with their game times altering with the weather forecast.
Senior day for the Islanders will be held Saturday, after the conclusion of the game. A&M-Corpus Christi will honor the senior class of

Skylar Heger,
Zoey Stewart,
Mimi Thornton, and
Peyton Welker.
