CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi athletic department announced the additions of
Tim Patrick,
Celina Hernandez, and
Brad Seitz to the Islander team. Patrick is set to serve as the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement, while Hernandez is the Assistant Athletic Director for Annual Giving, and Seitz is the Assistant AD for Communications.
Patrick joins the Island after spending two years at Abilene Christian, where he served as the head of marketing for ACU men's basketball and football and the secondary lead for baseball. He handled fan in-venue experiences including videoboard messages, Rally Cats experiences, and group outings.
"I'm incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to join Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Athletics," said Patrick. "The past few years have given me the opportunity to grow in so many areas of college athletics, and I'm excited to bring those experiences to the Islander community. I'm looking forward to creating new and memorable experiences for our fans, finding innovative ways to tell the story of our student-athletes and helping build something special at Islander Athletics."
Prior to moving to Abilene, Patrick was a marketing graduate assistant at his alma mater, Coastal Carolina. He developed and implemented marketing plans for men's and women's basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and baseball, and directed all gameday production. Patrick earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Coastal Carolina.
Hernandez comes to TAMU-CC from the USA Gymnastics Foundation, where she was the Development Specialist. She led annual giving and fundraising campaigns, as well as working in development and donor engagement to support athletes and programs across the country.Â
"I'm excited to join the team as the new Assistant AD of Annual Giving for Islanders Athletics," said Hernandez. "As I step into this role, my vision for the Islanders Club is to build upon the strong foundation laid last year and continue creating meaningful opportunities for our donors to make an impact. The Islanders Club is more than a giving program; it is a community of supporters who believe in our student-athletes and the future of Islanders Athletics."
Her career has centered around collegiate athletics, fundraising, and building meaningful relationships with supporters, starting with her time at Texas A&M-College Station where she received her undergraduate and master's degrees. In her time with the Aggies, she gained experience working in Name, Image and Likeness, creating impact between student-athletes, fans, and the community.
Seitz joins the Islanders after spending the past two seasons at Samford University. There, he was the Director of Athletic Communications and served as the primary contact for the men's basketball, football, softball, track and field, and cross country teams.Â
"I look forward to being a member of the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi athletic team," said Seitz. "I am excited to work with the coaches and athletes to highlight and celebrate their successes and tell the story of Islander Athletics. I want to thank Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics
Adrian Rodriguez and the senior leadership team for the opportunity."Â
A graduate from Coastal Carolina, Seitz previously was at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where he went to graduate school and was a Graduate Assistant before staying on as the Assistant Director of Communications for three years.
