CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – After the 2024 season saw another championship added to the shelf, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi volleyball team will be gunning for more in 2025 as the Southland Conference regular season slate begins Wednesday against SFA at 6:30 p.m. in the Dugan Wellness Center.
The Islanders (4-8) return home in due fashion, welcoming SFA (5-6) Wednesday night to kick off the beginning of conference play. The last time the two met was during the SLC Semifinals last season which the Islanders own 3-1 en route to the championship match and title.
Last year, the Islanders were undefeated at home (11-0), winning all eight home conference matches. They haven't lost a home regular season SLC match since Sept. 23, 2023 against Southeastern.
The match will be streamed live on ESPN+ with
Steven King and former-Islanders volleyball player
