CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's and women's tennis teams each posted a pair of 4-0 victories over Texas Wesleyan Thursday at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center.
Both the men (12-4) and women (14-2) never relented a point today, taking each match in clean 4-0 decisions. Each cruised to doubles victories in both matches, as the men also had five different Islanders register a single win today.

Adriana Jimenez Casado to begin each match with the 1-0 lead.
Similarly in singles play, the women needed to finish out with just two courts.
Josefa Fuenzalida notched victories in both, winning 6-0, 6-1 in the first at court two before sliding up to court one in the latter match where she won due to a retirement.
Juliette Jalai and
Zoe Moley each swept an opponent in perfect 6-0, 6-0 sets for a win of their own today.
The men remained consistent in doubles play, clinching the point from courts two and three in both.

Maxime Salesses at court two won theirs 6-1 and 6-2 while

Josef Zapletal posted a pair of 6-0 doubles wins at court three.
Salesses was the lone Islander on the men's side to register two singles wins today, both coming at the No. 6 spot. He only gave up three total games between the two matches today.
Coignet earned a singles win at court five in the first match with a 6-1, 6-0 score, as did
Nicholas Niox Chateau from court one 6-0, 6-1. In the second match,
Omar Suarez won at No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-4 while
Nicolas Trebuchet stuck to his process for a pair of 6-0 sets at court three.
Both teams will be back in action with another pair of doubleheaders at home, this time against Howard Payne on Tuesday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., in their final nonconference matchups.
