SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's tennis team once again dominated their way to a doubleheader sweep, defeating Our Lady of the Lake in an all-team effort for a pair of 5-0 matches Friday in San Antonio.
The Islanders (6-0) remain undefeated after the six-match victory week to start 2025. They also improve to 4-0 all-time over Our Lady of the Lake, having yet to drop a point to the Saints as the two faced off for the first time since 2023.
It is the third year in a row that the Islanders went undefeated through their first six matches played, and sixth season ever to do so.

Juliette Jalai extended her team-leading win total to six after garnering two singles wins on the day between courts four and five. Also battling to a 2-0 singles day were freshman
Yana Mykytyn who notched her wins at court three and sophomore
Adriana Jimenez Casado who filled in at the No. 6 spot.

Kseniya Ramanouskaya continued their dominance at No. 1 doubles, posting two victories at that top spot today to ensure an early point in both matches for the Islanders. They improve to 5-0 in doubles play as a duo this season, all at court one.
The Islanders will now bring their early success back to their home court, as the men and women will both host Prairie View on Tuesday at 11 a.m./2 p.m. in a doubleheader for their home openers. The women will especially be looking to defend theirs, as they are carrying a 45-match home winning streak into 2025, not having dropped a home contest since 2021.
