"Our seniors and graduate students have been very determined and focused in practice these first couple weeks. Their passion and efforts are contagious and we are excited to help them improve each day and see how good we can be as we build up towards conference play and the conference tournament at the end of the season," said Greene.

"What John Cook and Nebraska have done for women's volleyball is revolutionary. Their fanbase is something we all inspire to have, and we are excited to open the season at the Devaney Center in front of their sold-out crowd. As a perennial national power, they have a very balanced offense, but their defensive prowess is what really stands out year-after-year when it comes to how Coach Cook prepares his team," Greene said.

"I have many fond memories of coaching at Texas A&M in Reed Arena under hall of fame head coach Laurie Corbelli. I look up to her and her husband, John Corbelli, as coaches/mentors and try to utilize what I learned from them and their inspiration often with our team," said Greene.
