HAMMOND, La. – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi volleyball team will be tasked with a challenge in its final road swing of the regular season, taking on current top-ranked Southeastern Thursday before closing the weekend Saturday at New Orleans.
With just four matches remaining in the regular season, A&M-Corpus Christi is going against Southeastern (20-4, 12-0 SLC), the team currently atop the league, to begin that stretch Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. The Islanders will then close out the road schedule Saturday at New Orleans (2-22, 0-12 SLC) slated for 12 p.m.
The Islanders (14-9, 9-3 SLC) have already clinched a spot in the 2024 Southland Conference Tournament but the squad is still fighting for seeding as they are currently tied for third place with UTRGV.
