CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi volleyball team is riding home with a three-match winning streak to continue a busy week of league play, welcoming Texas A&M-Commerce Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and Northwestern State Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Dugan Wellness Center.
The Islanders (7-8, 2-2 SLC) are coming off a big 3-2 win at UTRGV Tuesday night, their first win over the Vaqueros since 2021. It gets them back to even in their conference record after a tough road swing to open the league slate. They will now return home for their first full home conference weekend with the Lions (6-11, 3-2 SLC) and Lady Demons (6-6, 1-2 SLC). Last weekend, the Islanders topped Lamar in straight sets for their conference home opener in front of a sell-out crowd.
