PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – Following opening weekend of Southland play, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi volleyball team will squeeze in one final nonconference matchup when it heads to Prairie View for a 6:30 p.m. match Thursday.
The Islanders (4-8) will try to break a five-match skid, taking on the Panthers (6-11) in the official nonconference finale. The two have met 21 times previous, with A&M-Corpus Christi holding the 20-1 advantage. They have not lost to the Panthers since 2000.
It will also be the finale of a seven-match road swing as the Islanders will finally return home after nearly a month away Saturday against Lamar in the Dugan Wellness Center.
