"It was a tough day for us," said head coach

Christian Smith-Johnson in his first collegiate start.
Following two scoreless innings, UT Arlington scored an additional run in the top of the seventh. Markotic rounded out the scoring for the day with a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth out to right field.
