"Today was a really good college tennis match. I thought we played really hard and with a real commitment to our process. I thought we improved some key things that are very important to our season. I have a lot of respect for St. Thomas, their coach Jack Brasington and the amazing job their athletic department did putting these matches on. Everything they did was first class and they made it a very special event for all the players on both teams," said head coach
Steve Moore.
Â
On the men's side, junior Ulysse Bertand and sophomores
Borja Delgado,
Guillermo Castaneda and
Ernesto Mealla all went 2-0 in singles. For the women, 2-0 singles performances came from sophomores
