Lewis double-double lifts Islanders to 78-70 Homecoming victory over UIW

- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi men's basketball team defeated the University of the Incarnate Word, 79-70, on Saturday afternoon.
- The Islanders improved to 12-17 overall and 8-10 in Southland play. The Cardinals fall to 9-20 overall and 6-12 in league action.
- Tony Lewis picked up his third double-double of the season and the fourth of his career with a 19-point, 12 rebound performance on Homecoming night. The rebounds tied a career-high for the senior who also added a blocked shot while going 11-of-13 from the charity stripe.
- Saturday's game was played on the Corpus Christi Athletic Club Court at the American Bank Center.
